About Marla

Marla has been guiding escapes for 13 years. Her dedication to replenishing professional women, stay at home moms, caregivers and all women ages 21 and up is reflected in testimonials. Marla has an innate gift of bringing women together! Her dynamic personality adds an element of fun! Healing energy and a compassionate heart contribute to her expertise as a facilitator. She attributes her capabilities to her female ancestors, “from their decor and ambiance to meal preparation, they were simply phenomenal hostesses.” Marla believes her ancestors have passed the baton to her. She intends to create fun, upbeat, yet introspective escapes for the purpose of establishing friendships and replenishing.

Professionally, Marla has been instrumental in transforming lives for decades.
Not only in her role as a therapist, she’s also been In the Press—Featured on WDIV twice, hosted her own talk show on WMTV and she is a cast member in the important documentary film, Pink&Blue.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. — Romans 12:2
